Dimity completed her medical degree at Monash University and then specialised in General Practice, completing her Fellowship of the RACGP in 1995.
She has worked for over 20 years in general practice and recently returned to Armadale Family Clinic after 6 years working at a clinic focussing on perinatal health. Dimity has been an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners for over 15 years.
Dimity is interested in all aspects of General Practice, particularly women’s and children’s health from pre-conception counselling, pregnancy, breastfeeding and infant health to adolescence. She is also interested in mental wellbeing, including mindfulness meditation.
She is accredited for Shared Care with Sandringham, The Mercy, The Womens and Southern Health- looking after her patients throughout their pregnancy in collaboration with these public hospitals.
In her spare time, Dimity can be found outside, bushwalking or camping with her family. She is also passionate about the natural world and works voluntarily to advocate for the protection of our environment.
